The TIE Advanced X1 is the original series of prototypes for the TIE Avenger/Advanced and TIE interceptor. It was the most successful of the TIE prototypes built by Sienar Fleet Systems, and although it did not make it to production, many of its advancements did. The x1 has a custom-built fuselage which features enhanced armor plating, expanded reardeck, and matching bent wings. It isn't as maneuverable as the other TIE Fighter designs, but speed is slightly faster and it has a exceptionnal acceleration. Like most TIE ships, the x1 lacks a life-support system, but it does have modest shield generators. The x1 saw limited production. Darth Vader received one of the first x1 ships, while others went to elite squadrons for testing. SFS could not bring the fighter's cost down, so the Empire opted not to purchase the x1 in quantity.
VADER CUSTOM TIE
TIE x1 specially design and modified by Darth Vader. It was equiped with better shielding and armement and it was equiped with hyperdrive. It was dertroyed at Yavin by Han Solo when Vader attemp to defend the Death Star from Luke.
